LORENE B. SMITH, 86

POLAND -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home for Lorene B. Smith, 86, of 6469 Diana Drive, who died Monday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Mrs. Smith was born Feb. 9, 1915, in West Middlesex, a daughter of William and Mary Turner Paden, and lived in the area until 1976, when she moved to Vero Beach, Fla. She returned to Poland in 2000.
She was a former member of Poland Presbyterian Church and a member of Christ by the Sea Methodist Church in Vero Beach. She graduated from South High School, had attended Youngstown College and belonged to chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Youngstown and Vero Beach.
She leaves her husband, Paul G. Sr.; a son, Paul Jr. of Poland; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Two sisters, Ida Craig and Mary Rehem, are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service Thursday at the funeral home.
