GEORGE HAROLD GIBSON, 87



VIENNA -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Vienna United Methodist Church for George Harold Gibson, 87, of 4469 Smith-Stewart Road, who died Tuesday at home.
Mr. Gibson was born Feb. 5, 1914, in Ellwood City, a son of George R. and Nellie Foreman Gibson.
He was a pattern layout man for General Fireproofing in Youngstown for 42 years, retired in 1976, and was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
He was a member of the church and Vienna Senior Citizens, and was a volunteer for Vienna Food Pantry.
Besides his wife, the former Alda R. Hilbig, whom he married Sept. 28, 1946, he leaves a son, George R. of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Beckey Rosa of Austintown; a brother, Robert of Brookfield; two sisters, Velma Gibson and Evelyn Maynard, both of Vienna; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Two brothers, Wilmer and John; and a sister, Dorothy Gibson, are deceased.
