SHARON, Pa. -- Private memorial services will be later for Andrew Wagner, 85, of 15 W. Connelly Blvd., formerly of Sharpsville, who died Monday afternoon in Sharon Regional Health System hospital.
Mr. Wagner was born July 23, 1915, in Waters, Mich., a son of Joseph and Martha Huegel Wagner.
He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Sharpsville for 20 years and previously worked for Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric.
A graduate of Brookfield High School, he was a World War II Army veteran who served in the medical corps in Belgium and France.
He leaves a daughter, Deborah A. Wagner of Glasgow, Scotland; two sons, Richard of Solon and John A. of Shrewsbury, England; two sisters, Teresa A. McVay of Greenville and Eva Sovik of Sharon; a brother, Joseph Wagner of Brookfield; a half brother, Albert Parker of Minneapolis, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
Two brothers, Adam, and his twin, John; a half brother, Edward Parker; and a sister, Martha Routman, are deceased.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Stevenson's Funeral Home in Sharon. Contributions may be made to the children's library of Shenango Valley Community Library, 11 N. Sharpsville Ave., Sharon 16146.
