SHIRLEY MAE TOWNES, 46

WARREN -- Services will be at noon Wednesday in House of Prayer United Holy Church for Shirley Mae Townes, 46, of 604 Commerce St. N.W., who died Wednesday afternoon in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.Mrs. Townes was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Warren, a daughter of Millard and Rose Mae Thomas.
She graduated in 1972 from Warren Western Reserve High School and then attended ITT Technical Institute in Niles. She was a homemaker and a member of the church, where she sang in the choir.
Besides her mother of Warren, she leaves her husband, Michael L., whom she married Dec. 19, 1987; two sons, Kendell Lamont Thomas and Michael Lee Townes Jr., both of Warren; two daughters, Ashawnti S. and Breonna C.R. Townes, both of Warren; a stepdaughter, Taquandra Alexander of Warren; a brother, Reedy McCall of London, England; two sisters, Gwendolyn L. Thomas of Leavittown, Pa., and Kathy E. Lewis of Warren; and three grandchildren.
A brother is deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before the service Wednesday in the church. Arrangements are by Sibley-Murray Funeral Home.
