RALPH FRANCIS JOHNSTON, 48

SHARON, Pa. -- Services will be at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church for Ralph Francis Johnston, 48, of 310 N. Myers Ave., formerly of Sherman Oaks, Calif., who died of cancer Sunday at home.
Mr. Johnston was born May 25, 1952, in Sharon, a son of Roy C. and Anne P. Patterson Johnston.
A 1970 graduate of Sharon High School, and a 1976 graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, he had worked as an expediter for Casa, a construction and development firm in California. He was a member of the church.
Besides his parents of Sharon, he leaves a sister, Mi Mi Mentrek of Hermitage; and four brothers, R. Clifford of Sacramento, Calif., Jeffrey E. of Mechanicsburg, Pa., Thomas Q. of Naperville, Ill., and Jay C. of Sharon.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
