LEONARD G. BARANACK, 64
AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown, and at noon in St. Joseph Church for Leonard G. Baranack, 64, of 2271 Frostwood Drive, who died of lung cancer late Sunday at his home.
Mr. Baranack was born Dec. 1, 1936, in Ramey, Pa., a son of Pete and Mary Washell Baranack, moving to Cleveland in 1954 and to this area in 1970.
He was employed 37 years by General Motors, in Cleveland until 1970 then relocated to this area when the plant moved, and worked in its fabricating plant, where he became a general supervisor before retiring in 1992.
He was a journeyman tool and die maker by trade, and was a member of the church and the Austintown Eagles Club.
Besides his wife, the former Mary Lou Margroff, whom he married June 2, 1959, he leaves four sons, Michael of Windsor, England, twins Gregory of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Jeffrey of New Philadelphia, and Patrick of Erie; and six grandchildren.
Two brothers, Raymond and Tom, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
