FRANCIS V. PETERS, 88



WARREN -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Crown Hill Burial Park Chapel, Vienna, for Francis V. Peters, 88, of 1405 Edgewood N.E., who died of a heart ailment Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter in Niles.
Mr. Peters, also known as "Pete," was born June 19, 1912, in Meadville, a son of Henry and Mary Bell Peters.
He worked as a toolroom clerk for Republic Steel for 20 years before retiring in 1975. He was an organizer of Republic Steel Retirees and was a buyer and seller at flea markets.
Besides his wife, the former Vivian Doutt, whom he married May 10, 1940, he leaves a daughter, Elaine Pitonyak, with whom he made his home; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Deidre LaBanc, six brothers, four sisters and a great-granddaughter are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Trumbull County, 219 N. River Road N.W., Warren. Arrangements are by Selby-Cole Funeral Home, Vienna.
