DORATHYE DRUSCHEL KENNEDY, 82



MOUNT JACKSON, Pa. -- Services will be at 9 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home, New Wilmington, for Dorathye Druschel Kennedy, 82, of 1001 E. Alex-Bell Road, Centerville, Ohio, formerly of Mount Jackson, who died Saturday afternoon in Manor Care of Centerville.
Mrs. Kennedy was born Nov. 15, 1918, in New Castle, a daughter of Earl M. and Mabel Caufield Druschel. A graduate of New Castle High School, she was a homemaker and a secretary for Sears and Agway.
She also was an artist, and one of her works was displayed at one time in the governor's mansion in Harrisburg.
Her husband, Wylie, died April 3, 1998.
She leaves a son, Keith of New Castle; two daughters, Kay M. Thompson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ellen Edwards of Centerville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A brother, Nelson Druschel, and a great-granddaughter are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
