BAZAARS
XFirst United Brethren Church, 1900 Eastbrook Road, New Castle, Pa., will hold a "Think Spring" bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Food also will be available.
FUND-RAISERS
XHome Savings and Loan Co. and Butler Wick Co. will sponsor a "Reds, Whites and Blues" fund-raiser to benefit the Children's Rehabilitation Center in Warren. The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. March 25 at Vernon's Cafe, 720 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles. In addition to food, a variety of arts and crafts will be displayed for purchase, and there will be musical entertainment. Due to limited space, reservations are suggested by calling (330) 856-2107. Tickets are $50 each.
XSt. Stephen of Hungary Church Altar and Rosary Society will sponsor a card and bingo party at 2 p.m. March 25 at the church social hall, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown. Tickets may be bought at the door at a cost of $3. There will be door prizes and a light lunch. For information call (330) 743-1905.
LECTURES
XSts. Cyril & amp; Methodius Church in Warren will sponsor a "Lunch, Laughter and a Lift" program from 12:30 to 2 p.m. March 21 at Dilucia's Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road, Warren. Cost for soup and salad bar is $6.50 plus tax and tip, and the full menu is $8 plus tax and tip. Guest speaker will be the Rev. James P. Walker. SALES
XUnity Presbyterian Church will hold an indoor yard sale at its fellowship hall at 1857 Mercer-West Middlesex Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. There will also be a bake sale and hot foods will be available.
TOURS
XThe National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson, will conduct a pilgrimage June 11-14 to Washington D.C., Baltimore and Gettysburg, Pa. A visit to the Immaculate Conception Shrine in Washington and dinner and show, "Rumors," will be in the Baltimore area. A guided battlefield tour will be the highlight in Gettysburg. The tour includes round-trip transportation, three nights lodging, baggage handling, seven meals and taxes. The cost is $459 for double occupancy. Reservations are due by May 11.
