THEODOSIA FULLER-BLAKELY, 86 Was substitute teacher in Warren



WARREN -- Services will be at noon Wednesday in Grace A.M.E. Church for Theodosia Fuller-Blakely, 86, of 1298 North Road, who died Saturday in St. Joseph Health Center.
Mrs. Fuller-Blakely was born Nov. 30, 1914, in Norfolk, Va., a daughter of Daniel A.P. and Hattie C. Simms Fuller. She was a social worker for the Trumbull County Board of Children Services, and had been a substitute teacher for Warren City schools.
A 1937 graduate of Wilberforce University, she was a member of the church and its Altar Guild, and was a charter member of the Warren Civic League and the Gamma Phi Club.
Her husband, Nelson C. Sr., whom she married Dec. 31, 1937, died March 5, 1997.
She leaves two sons, Nelson C. Jr. and Shahid B. Sharif, both of Warren; four daughters, Merle B. Carter, Kathryn A. Blakely, M. Andrea Taylor and Marsha B. Terry, all of Warren; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A son, Stanley Blakely, and a brother, Alex Fuller, are deceased.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until services Wednesday in the church.
Arrangements are by Sibley-Murray Funeral Home.
