NELSON R. SUNDELIN SR., 85

HERMITAGE -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stevenson Funeral Home, Sharon, for Nelson R. Sundelin Sr., 85, of 555 Dutch Lane, who died Sunday in Clepper Convalescent Home, Sharon, after a short illness.
Mr. Sundelin was born May 8, 1915, in Braddock, Pa., a son of Wilhelm and Esther Freeman Sundelin.
He was a machine operator for Sharon Steel Corp. for 42 years before retiring in 1977. A 1935 graduate of Sharon High School, he served in the Army during World War II. He was a Methodist.
His wife, the former Julia A. Hando, whom he married Sept. 7, 1940, died March 19, 1993.
He leaves a daughter, Sharon A. Sundelin at home, and a son, Nelson R. Jr. of Richmond Heights, Ohio.
Three brothers, Einar, Ralph and Roy Sundelin, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
