ANTHONY EDGER GERMAINE, 70

NEW CASTLE -- Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Ed & amp; Don DeCarbo Mill Street Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church for Anthony Edger Germaine, 70, of10th Street, West Pittsburg, formerly of New Castle, who died Saturday in Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Germaine was born July 21, 1930, in New Castle, a son of Anthony J. Sr. and Antoinette D'Antico Germaine.
He was an electrician for Babcock & amp; Wilcox, and also was a Hammond Organ repairman andorganist for St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish, the Pittsburgh Cursillo Movement, Metanoia Prison Retreats, National Parish Musicians, American Legion and was a former Pop Warner League coach. He was also a Navy veteran.
Besides his wife, the former Lillian A. Carangi, whom he married Oct. 28, 1950, he leaves a daughter, Cindy Germaine of Pittsburgh.
His stepmother, Lucy R. Germaine, and a son, Anthony, are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Military rites will be provided by the New Castle Area Honor Guard.
