Niles Senior Center of SCOPE Inc. will hold a cookbook and quilt raffle promotion from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Eastwood Mall Community Booth. Daily activities at the center are as follows: Monday, Center Quilters, Goldenagers and player's choice cards at 1 p.m., Men Singers at 2:15 and cards and games at 6:30; Tuesday, square dancers from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., brown-bag lunch at noon and player's choice cards at 1 p.m.; Wednesday, pokeno and tripoli at 9:30 a.m., tai chi class from 10 to 11:30, bingo at 1 p.m. and player's choice cards at 2:30; Thursday, line dancers from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and pinochle and bridge at 1 p.m.; Friday, gourmet cooks from 9 a.m. to noon and mixed chorus at 1 p.m.
SCOPE Inc.'s Senior Center, 220 W. Market St., Warren, will present a Medicare education program at 1 p.m. Wednesday. A creative writing class, "Writing For the Fun of It," is set to begin at 10 a.m. Thursday and will run for six weeks. The class is free to persons 50 and older, but registration is required.
