MASURY -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home, Sharon, for Norman L. McKnight, 69, of 680 S. State Line Road, who died Friday morning in Sharon Regional Health System hospital.
Mr. McKnight was born Sept. 12, 1931, in South Pymatuning Township, a son of Lawrence C. and Mary E. Diefenderfer McKnight.
He worked for Valley Mould & amp; Iron in Hubbard for 35 years and retired as a supervisor.
He attended First Baptist Church of Sharon and was a 1949 graduate of Hickory High School in Hermitage. He did woodworking and carpentry and enjoyed fishing.
Besides his mother of Greenville, he leaves his wife, the former Carol A. Leidy, whom he married March 31, 1973; six sons, David A. of Sharpsville, Thomas L. of Phoenix, Ariz., Robert W. of Sharon, Norman P. of Washington, D.C., and Dennis and Brian, both in Florida; three daughters, Kathleen Walcott of Hermitage, Lori D. Nyitrai of Cortland and J. Amber McKnight of Ocala, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Darlene Charlop of Vienna, Va.; three stepsons, Robert L. Hough Jr. of Ashburn, Va., Timothy P. Hough of Greenville, Pa., and Michael W. Hough of Christmas, Fla.; two brothers, Glenn E. of Reynolds, Pa., and Kenneth W. of Clark, Pa.; a sister, Ronda Reichard of Reynolds, Pa.; 24 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the church memorial fund, 301 W. State St., Sharon 16146.
