McDavids feted at dinner for 50th anniversary

CAMPBELL -- Mr. and Mrs. Harold McDavid Jr., 216 Tremble Ave., were honored Feb. 17 at a dinner at Abruzzi's Cafe 422 in Warren in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary. Hosts for the event were the couple's children, Bernard McDavid of Mason, DiAnne Holloway of Lorain and Delores Wolf of Rocky River. Four grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. McDavid and the former Doris Hairston were married Feb. 13, 1951, in Brooksville, Miss. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and retired in 1985 from Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube where he was an assistant gauger. He is a member of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church where he sings in the mass choir.
His wife is a homemaker.
