HELEN V. BENSON, 79

MASURY -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Church, Sharon, for Helen V. Benson, 79, of 8017 Warren-Sharon Road, who died Saturday morning in Sharon Regional Health System hospital.
Mrs. Benson was born March 1, 1922, in Yatesboro, Pa., a daughter of Ambrose and Julia Kuzma Krapacs.
She was an antique dealer and operated Journey's End at Mentzers in West Middlesex for several years. She was a homemaker and a member of the church. She also baked wedding cakes and won awards at many cake decorating competitions.
Her husband, James A., whom she married Oct. 16, 1943, died Feb. 11, 1999.
She leaves three sons, James M. of Sharon, Dennis C. of Hartford and Ernest at home; a brother, Ambrose Krapacs Jr. of Brookfield; and two grandchildren.
Two sisters, Mary Yourchison and Ann Zuhosky, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home.
