HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home in Sharon for Dmytro Namisnyk, 80, of 446 Marshall St., who died Friday evening in Sharon Regional Health System hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Namisnyk was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Ukraine.
He was a crane operator for AK Steel, a division of Sawhill Tubular in Sharon, for 33 years before retiring in 1984.
He was a member of Clark Pentecostal Holiness Church in Clark, Pa., and was a gardener and outdoorsman.
Besides his wife, the former Sophie Pitnik, whom he married June 7, 1950, he leaves three daughters, Nancy Buchanan and Debra E. Hamilton, both of Hermitage, and Betty L. Gealy of Transfer, Pa.; a brother, Roman of Sharon; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
