PAULINE McALLISTER KLOSS, 84



SHARON, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Salvation Army Corps Citadel, 660 Fisher Hill, for Pauline McAllister Kloss, 84, of 578 N. Oakland Ave., formerly of Watson Street and Ormond Avenue in Sharon, who died Thursday night at Clepper Manor after a long illness.
Mrs. Kloss was born March 4, 1917, in Coalport, Pa., a daughter of Daniel and Myrtle Knotts McAllister.
She was an assembler for five years at Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric and had also worked at Little Italy Restaurant in Hermitage.
She was a member of the Salvation Army in Sharon and its Ladies' Home League. She also was a member of Sharon Moose Lodge 122 and the Social Club of the Russian Club in Sharon.
Her husband, Frank, whom she married March 18, 1935, died July 1, 1995.
She leaves three daughters, Bonnie Swogger, Ruth Taylor and Sharon Longwell, all of Sharon; two sons, Richard C. of Hornell, N.Y., and John F. of Sharon; 25 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
A son, Robert D., and a grandson, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home, Sharon, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Salvation Army Citadel.
Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in Sharon.
