MILDRED S. SMITH, 70



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Greater Ebenezer Baptist Church for Mildred S. Smith, 70, of 110 E. Wood St., who died Monday in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Smith was born Nov. 8, 1930, in Memphis, Tenn., a daughter of Ernest and Sadie Evans Fields, and came to the area in the 1950s.
She was a homemaker, a member of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church, and had attended Choffin Career Center.
Besides her husband, Arnold of Kansas City, Mo., she leaves three daughters, Barbara McCray of Detroit, Mich., Janet Dennard and Yvonne Smith, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; three sons, Robert E. Fields of Memphis, Tenn., Ralph Fields of Youngstown and Kenneth Smith of Cleveland; two sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of Chicago, Ill., and Thelma Smith of Buffalo, N.Y.; two brothers, Matthew Fields Sr. of Cleveland, and John Fields Sr. of Birmingham, Ala.; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Dorothy McKee and Ernestine Avery, are deceased.
