MARY PUHL, 88



HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Services will be at 9:25 a.m. Monday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, both in Sharon, for Mary Puhl, 88, of John XXIII Home, formerly of Dakota Street in Farrell, who died Friday morning in the home after a long illness.
Mrs. Puhl was born May 11, 1912, in Krndija, Croatia, a daughter of Karl and Anna Steinshorn Grosseibl, and came to the United States in the early 1950s. She was a homemaker and was a member of the church.
Her husband, Adam Sr., whom she married Feb. 18, 1930, died Jan. 10, 1987.
She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth Milo, of west Middlesex; three sons, Anton of West Middlesex, Adam Jr. of Sharon and John of Hermitage; a brother, Paul Grosseibl in Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Theresa, died in infancy, and three sisters, Theresa Sippl, Anna Killinger, and Katherine Dobler, and three brothers, Lawrence, Karl and John Grosseibl, are also deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
