WARREN -- Diane Sauer is the newest member of the governing board overseeing Trumbull County Educational Service Center.
Sauer, president of Martin Chevrolet, was recently appointed to fill the seat vacated by Nick Macris.
Sauer is past president of Warren Rotary Club; advisory board member at Kent State University Trumbull Campus; and board member for organizations including United Way of Trumbull County, Better Business Bureau of the Mahoning Valley and Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital and its foundation.
Association speaker
YOUNGSTOWN -- Jennie Dennison-Budak, director of Interfaith Home Maintenance Services, will be the speaker at a meeting of the Northeast Homeowners Association at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Price Memorial AME Zion Church, 920 Dryden Ave.
Animal bites report
YOUNGSTOWN -- A total of 546 animal bites were reported in Mahoning County last year, according to the county health department.
Youngstown had the most reported with 267, mostly by stray dogs.
The health board's rabies control advisory committee will discuss those statistics during a meeting at 10 a.m. Monday at the board office on Westchester Drive, Austintown.
New officers
NILES -- The Community Improvement Corporation of Niles Inc. has elected new officers.
Atty. Matthew Blair was re-elected president; Marie Guarino, vice president; Mark Mucroski, treasurer; and Mary Ann Logan, secretary. The officers will serve through this year.
