MICHAEL BLAZEVIC, 81
WARREN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sts. Peter & amp; Paul Croatian Catholic Church, Youngstown, for Michael Blazevic, 81, of 2137 Grandview St. S.E., formerly of Youngstown, who died of complications after surgery Wednesday night in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mr. Blazevic was born Oct. 10, 1919, in Kamberovici-Zeniga, Yugoslavia, a son of John and Agnes Lukes Blazevic. He came to Youngstown in 1950 and moved to Warren in 1976. He worked for 28 years for Republic Steel Corp., Youngstown, before retiring in 1978. He also was a member of the church.
His wife, the former Helen McMillin Hearn, whom he married May 4, 1968, died Jan. 22, 1998.
He leaves four stepsons, James Hearn of Warren, with whom he lived, Gerald Hearn of Rocklin, Calif., Daniel Hearn of Norman, Okla., and Thomas Hearn of Maysville, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Mary Elaine Colson and Rose Uchrinscko, both of Warren, and Patricia Machingo of Howland; 24 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A stepdaughter, Delores Delida, and a sister, Anna, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Roberts-Clark Memorial Home, where a prayer service will be at 4:45 p.m. Contributions may be made to the church.
