KEITH H. RIGGS, 70 Canfield Auto Auction owner-operator



AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Federated Church, North Jackson, for Keith H. Riggs, 70, of 5002 Westchester Drive, who died Wednesday afternoon at home.
Mr. Riggs was born July 29, 1930, in Lordstown, a son of Paul J. and Lucy Hart Riggs.
He was manager of Penn-Ohio Auto Auction, had owned and operated Canfield Auto Auction and had been an auctioneer for many years.
He was a member of the church, where he served as elder, and American Legion Post 737 in Lake Milton and the Automobile Dealers Association. He also was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving as an aircraft electrician on several carriers.
Besides his wife, the former Mary Eileen McBride, whom he married Nov. 2, 1951, he leaves three sons, Patrick D. of North Jackson, William E. of Berlin Center and Wesley J. of Del Norte, Colo.; four daughters, Nola Bailey of North Jackson, Monica L. Menegay of DeBary, Fla., Brenda A. Long of Austintown and Lynette A. Riggs of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Rutheda Lehotsky of Williamsport, Pa.; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A grandson is deceased.
There are no calling hours.
