EVERETT R. BOOTH, 95

NEGLEY -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine, for Everett R. Booth, 95, of 50846 Front St., who died Thursday morning at his home.
Mr. Booth was born Nov. 13, 1905, in Alliance, a son of Eli and Emma Vale Booth, and had lived most of his life in Columbiana County. He was a press operator for New Castle Refractories Co., New Castle, Pa., for 33 years before retiring in 1968.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ in East Palestine and managed a Negley baseball team for many years.
His wife, the former Frances V. McMillin, whom he married Jan. 16, 1928, died Oct. 23, 1977.
He leaves two sons, John E. of Lisbon and Robert W. of North Canton; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Doris Marie Booth; a brother, Orville R.; and a sister are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
