ELIO SILVESTRI, 66



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Rossi Bros. Funeral Home, Boardman, and at 11:30 a.m. in St. Christine Church for Elio Silvestri, 66, of 4047 Arden Blvd., who died of complications of multiple sclerosis early Wednesday at his home.
Mr. Silvestri was born July 16, 1934, in San Giancomo, Ascoli Piceno, Italy, a son of Vincenzo and Elvira Cavucci Silvestri, coming to this area in 1948.
He had been a stockhouse foreman for the Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1985, and was a 1953 graduate of North High School.
He was a member of the church, Loyal Order of Moose, Moose Mixed Couples Bowling League, The Eight Ball Bowling Team and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Besides his wife, the former Patricia Lee Guerrieri, whom he married Jan. 28, 1967, he leaves two sons, Ralph E. McMahan of Boardman and Vincenzo E. Silvestri of Youngstown; three daughters, Vicki Lambert and Regina Schneider, both of Boardman, and Renee Mild of Columbus; two sisters, Dora Buccino of Poland and Angie Malkavits of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
