EDITH MAE HADLEY, 91



EAST PALESTINE -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First United Presbyterian Church here for Edith Mae Hadley, 91, of Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana, formerly of East Palestine, who died Thursday morning at the center.
Mrs. Hadley was born May 27, 1909, in New Waterford, a daughter of Baker C. and Minerva L. Todd Westover. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the Columbiana County Board of Elections.
A member of the church, she participated in its Women's Circle. She also was a member of the health care center's Silver Swingers Choir.
Her husband, Lawrence D., whom she married June 8, 1929, died Feb. 19, 1990.
She leaves a daughter, Virginia Dias of Boardman; two sons, Gaylord of West Harrison, Ind., and Earl of Enon Valley, Pa.; a brother, Carl Westover of Santa Maria, Calif.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Merle and Burl; seven sisters, Martha and Zena Westover, Hazel Kelty, Sylvia Dederick, Grace Zimmerman, Lena Fowler and Elma Taylor; three brothers, Glenn, Clyde and Raymond Westover; and a grandson are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the services in the church. Arrangements are by Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home.
