DALE ROBERT BURT, 65

COLUMBIANA -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home for Dale Robert Burt, 65, of 42884 state Route 517, who died Thursday morning in East Liverpool City Hospital, where he had been a patient for 15 days.
Mr. Burt was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Fairfield Township, a son of Sylvester and Edith Keck Burt. He had been a truck driver for 35 years, working for Chemline Trucking, Egner Trucking and Ferris Coal Co. He retired in 1992.
He attended Zion Hill Church of the Brethren and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1496, Leetonia. He also was a member of the Teamsters in Canton.
He leaves his wife, the former Barbara Cope, whom he married Jan. 1, 1956; two daughters, Debra Crago of New Cumberland, W.Va., and Kimberly Blakeslee of Columbiana; four sons, Glenn, Wesley and Stanley, all of Columbiana, and Tadley of Boardman; a sister, Cleta Colella of New Waterford; and 11 grandchildren.
Six sisters, Henrietta and Joan Burt, Betty Spaite, Lucille McCall, Janet Meiser and Daryl Duwe, and three brothers, Dwain, Merle and Kenny, are deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
