ALICE H. STURDEVANT, 78

AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Smith Corners United Methodist Church for Alice H. Sturdevant, 78, of 4615 New Road, who died Tuesday at home.
Mrs. Sturdevant was born Jan. 4, 1923, in Throckmorton, Texas, a daughter of James M. and Alma Jowers Halbert. She was a member of the church and had worked for Jewel Mart in Boardman as a sales clerk.
Her husband, Burton E., whom she married Feb. 19, 1944, died Sept. 17, 2000.
She leaves two daughters, Sandy Cessna of Youngstown and Gayle Geddes of Mineral Wells, Texas; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A sister, Mary Schubert, and a brother, William B. Halbert, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home in Austintown.
