9 SRU dancersto present 'Ice'
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Nine Slippery Rock University dance students will present a work titled "Ice" when they perform as part of the Pittsburgh Dance Alloy's "Partners In Dance" set for 8 p.m. Saturday at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh. The students are Chrystal McCurdy of Mercer, Pa.; Leigh Puntereri of Grove City, Pa.; Becky Conway of Altoona, Pa.; Kristin Harvey of Wilcox, Pa.; Candice Hollabaugh of Spring Church, Pa.; Tara Madsen of Sussex, N.J.; Heather Olszewski of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; Tina Saulle of Cabot, Pa.; and Beth Sube of Somerset, Pa. Tickets are $10, $17 and $24 and may be ordered by calling (412) 456-6666. The project was funded by the SRU dance department and a research grant from the university's College of Health and Human Services Research Committee.

NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Village Councilman Dan Santangelo, chairman of the parks, buildings and grounds committee, will have a meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday in council chambers to discuss the future of the village park. He is seeking public comment about plans for the park.
