NEW SPRINGFIELD -- Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Seederly-Mong & amp; Beck Funeral Home, North Lima, for Shirley A. Ridling, 65, of 12936 Springfield Road, who died of complications following surgery Wednesday afternoon in the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.
Mrs. Ridling was born April 24, 1935, in Youngstown, a daughter of Irvy H. and Mattie Helen Noel Prater.
She worked in the outpatient billing department at St. Elizabeth Hospital 23 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of the Free Methodist Community Church, New Middletown, and its Tuesday morning Bible study group. She graduated from Boardman High School in 1954.
Among others, she leaves two sisters, Kathleen Wilson of New Waterford and Joye Norman of Gallatin, Tenn.; and a brother, Thomas L. Prater of New Middletown.
A brother, Buster H. Prater, is deceased.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
