HELEN LUCILLE WITHERS, 88

POLAND -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Poland United Methodist Church for Helen Lucille Withers, 88, of Riverhaven Nursing Home, Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Poland, who died Tuesday morning at the nursing home.
Mrs. Withers was born July 15, 1912, in Boardman, a daughter of Archie and Helen Grace Parsons Paulin. She lived in Poland until 1983 when she moved to Haddonfield, N.J., then later moved to Texas.
She was a bookkeeper for Ernst & amp; Ernst accounting firm in Youngstown and then for the Johnston Hardware Co. in Poland.
She was a longtime member of the church and held several offices with United Methodist Women, where she received special recognition from that organization. She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star, an officer of the Poland Chapter AARP and a board member of the Haddonfield AARP. She was a Cub Scout den mother and Campfire Girls leader.
Her husband, Harold E., whom she married Aug. 28, 1934, died in 1983.
She leaves a daughter, Sara Jane Stone of Haddonfield; a son, David of Georgetown; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A brother, Randall Paulin, is deceased.
Friends may call a half-hour before services in the church. Arrangements are by Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home here.
