ELIZABETH L. GURA, 82 Elementary school teacher in Struthers

STRUTHERS -- Private services were Wednesday at St. John's Cemetery Chapel, Coitsville, for Elizabeth L. Gura, 82, of 8064 South Ave., Boardman, formerly of Wilson Street, who died Sunday night in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Miss Gura was born May 29, 1918, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Gura, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a sixth-grade teacher at Fifth Street School and retired in 1972. She was a 1937 graduate of Struthers High School, and a 1941 graduate of Kent State University. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church and its Legion of Mary.
She leaves three nieces and a nephew.
A sister, Mary Rita Spencer, is deceased.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by McVean & amp; Hughes Funeral Home.
