CATHERINE SHEVETZ, 82

STRUTHERS -- Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Kirila Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church for Catherine Shevetz, 82, of 53 Wilhelm St., who died Wednesday morning in St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Shevetz was born Oct. 29, 1918, in Erie, Pa., a daughter of Michael and Anna Kaschak. She was a homemaker and a member of the church and its Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member of Jednota Lodge Branch 156.
Her husband, John E., whom she married July 19, 1938, died Oct. 9, 1990.
She leaves a daughter, Joan M. Schauffele of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two brothers, Andrew and Peter Kaschak, and two sisters, Anna Tabak and Margaret Repela, all of Erie; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Michael Jr., Steve and Joseph Kaschak, and two sisters, Helen Duda and Mary Babik, are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
