CATHERINE R. PASQUALE, 77



CANFIELD -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Kinnick Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Christine Church for Catherine R. Pasquale, 77, of 10-4 Newton Square, formerly of Shawnee Trail, Youngstown, who died of complications from leukemia Wednesday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mrs. Pasquale was born April 3, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Gregory and Barbara Jandracik Sultan, and was a lifelong area resident.
She had been a cashier for Rimedio's Valu-King in Austintown and Rimedio's Grocery Store in Brier Hill for 20 years, retiring in 1977. She had also worked as a clerk for Strouss' Department Store downtown, and Triangle Coats. She was a member of the church and St. George Lodge 66 of the Croatian Fraternal Union.
Her husband, Frank A., whom she married Oct. 17, 1942, died Dec. 29, 1999.
She leaves a son, Frank A. Jr. of Austintown; three daughters, Jean Cunningham and Janis Savich, both of Canfield, and Barbara Kivlighan of Youngstown; a brother, Michael Sultan of Youngstown; a sister, Carolyn Mikolay of Boardman; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, John and Thomas Sultan, are deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Northeast Chapter of the Leukemia Society, in care of the funeral home.
