RAYMOND L. MCDONALD, 72

MERCER, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home in Sharpsville for Raymond L. McDonald, 72, of 7 Lake Road, who died Monday night at UPMC Horizon hospital in Farrell after a brief illness.
Mr. McDonald, known as Pete, was born Jan. 16, 1929, in Sharpsville, a son of Raymond J. and Verde McMillin McDonald.
He retired as a staff sergeant after 20 years with the Air Force, having served in Korea and Vietnam.
He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School, was a Methodist, and was a member of Sharpsville American Legion and Sharpsville VFW.
He leaves several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Robert J. Sr., is deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
