MARY M. SWOGGER, 91



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, both in Hubbard, for Mary M. Swogger, 91, of 6825 Lockwood Blvd., formerly of Hubbard, who died Tuesday morning at Austinwoods Care Center where she had been a patient for two weeks.
Mrs. Swogger was born May 15, 1909, in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Catherine Gorman Gilligan. She lived in Hubbard from 1941 to 1985, when she moved to Youngstown.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Charles Church in Boardman and a former member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary, and volunteered in preparing fish dinners at the church. She attended Ursuline High School.
Her husband, Clarence J., whom she married Oct. 26, 1933, died March 22, 1983.
She leaves a son, Donald W. of Austintown; a daughter, Patricia A. Hoban of Westerville; a sister, Catherine Panno of Boardman; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Catherine Elaine Swogger, and two brothers, John and Joseph Gilligan, are deceased.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the St. Patrick Church Capital Campaign, 225 N. Main St., Hubbard 44425.
