AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown, for Margaret L. Howells, 98, of 2000 Andrews Road, Yorktown, Ind., formerly of Austintown, who died Sunday at Waters of Yorktown Nursing Home, Yorktown.
Mrs. Howells was born Nov. 30, 1902, in Austintown, a daughter of Irvin and Blanche Keenan Schrum. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in West Austintown. Her husband, William, died in 1970.
She leaves a son, Raymond of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a daughter, JoAnn E. Thompson of Yorktown, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A son, William R., is deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
