NEWTON FALLS -- A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Marlboro Christian Church, Alliance, for Donald E. Pauley, 70, of 4784 Bate St., who died March 1 in Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna.
Mr. Pauley was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Garfield Heights, a son of Hiram Webster and Daisy M. Donohue Pauley, and had lived in Newton Falls since November after coming from Edmonton, Ky.
He worked for American Electric Power, serving as a mate on river boats on the Ohio River before retiring in 1992. He was an Air Force veteran.
He leaves a daughter, Sherry Ann Pauley of Salina, Kan.; a son, Harry L. of Dayton; a brother, Webster F. of Deerfield; five sisters, Margaret Annabele Stillwell of Santa Maria, Calif., Dorothy I. Adams of Desert Hot Springs, Calif., Juanita Hiltabidle of Atwater, Ohio,Luella M. Franks of Homeworth, and Sarah Jane Fear of Ravenna; and his companion, Edna Collins of Newton Falls.
