FARRELL, Pa. -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Leipheimer-Tomon Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. John's Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church for Anna M. Gelety, 87, of 17 Morning Glen Lane, Newark, Del., formerly of Second Street S.E., Masury, who died Tuesday in St. Francis Care Center in Hockessin, Del.
Mrs. Gelety was born Nov. 16, 1913, in Mammoth, Pa., a daughter of John and Mary Tomko Urda.
Mrs. Gelety was a member of the church and a homemaker. She was past president of the Mother-Daughter Club of the church, and past president and treasurer of the women's auxiliary of the American Carpatho-Russian Citizens and Social Club, formerly of Farrell.
Her husband, Andrew, whom she married Sept. 4, 1948, died Aug. 8, 1992.
She leaves a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Foley of Newark, Del., who cared for her for the past 81/2 years; two sisters, Margaret Lewis and Helen Wanchik, both of Greenville, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
A sister, Mary Yalch, and five brothers, Andrew, George, Steve, Michael and Thomas Urda, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where a Panachida service will be at 8 p.m. Friday.
