WILLIAM J. PITKO, 61

POLAND -- Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Kubina-Yuhasz Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Church for William J. Pitko, 61, of 8345 Weatherwood Trail, who died of a heart attack Sunday in the emergency room of Forum Health Beeghly Medical Park, where he was taken after becoming ill at his home.
Mr. Pitko was born July 4, 1939, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph Sr. and Mary Krulik Pitko.
He was treatment plant operator for 16 years for the Mahoning County Sanitary Engineering Department. A member of the church, he was an Army veteran.
He leaves two daughters, Laurie Pitko of Canfield and Cindy Rawden of Poland; three brothers, David of Youngstown and George and Joseph Jr., both of Poland; a sister, Gladys Stahara of Youngstown; two granddaughters; and his companion, Judy Szpiech of Poland.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
