MARY STELLA ARCADE, 88



HERMITAGE, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Church of Notre Dame for Mary Stella Arcade, 88, of 2129 Trace St., formerly of North Hermitage Road, Transfer, who died Sunday in Sharon Regional Health System hospital.
Mrs. Arcade was born Feb. 4, 1913, in Dayton, Pa., a daughter of Diomede and Michelina Critelli Morocco, and moved to Farrell as a child.
She graduated from Farrell High School and had worked at Pastryland Bakery in Farrell, operated by her brother.
A homemaker, she was a member of the church and its Ave Maria Society and volunteered with the church wedding catering group. A musician, she played piano and guitar.
Her husband, Rocco, whom she married June 2, 1934, died Nov. 18, 1987.
She leaves three daughters, Mary Lou Farmakis, Marguerite Jara and Carol Harakal, all of Sharpsville; a son, Ronald A. of Austintown; two brothers, Don of Sharon and Anthony of West Middlesex; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Victoria Ciatola and Nora Reda, are deceased.
