JOSEPH P. DERCOLI SR., 82



STRUTHERS -- Private services were Saturday for Joseph P. Dercoli Sr., 82, of 394 Creed St., who died last Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Mr. Dercoli was born May 24, 1918, in Struthers, a son of Peter and Maria Vincenza Valpone Dercoli, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a carpenter for 50 years at Youngstown Sheet & amp; Tube Co. A graduate of Struthers High School, he played accordion for various area bands, and was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the cavalry/infantry.
Besides his wife, the former Evelyn Colella, whom he married Aug. 3, 1946, he leaves a son, Joseph P. Jr. of Youngstown; a daughter, Mary Ann Romeo of Poland; two brothers, John L. of Austintown, and Valentine of Struthers; and a sister, Julia Zinger of Lowellville.
Three brothers, Anthony, Gene and James Dercoli, and a sister, Judith McIlwraith, are deceased.
There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Clemente Funeral Home, Struthers.
