JOHN T. HUMPHREY, 66



YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at noon Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church for John T. Humphrey, 66, of 310 Rutledge Drive, who died Saturday afternoon in Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
Mr. Humphrey was born Jan. 4, 1935, in Huntsville, Ala., a son of Charlie T. Sr. and Gladys Woods Humphrey, and came to the area in 1958. He was a midwelder for General Motors Corp. for 28 years before retiring in 1990.
He was a member of the church and its adult choir.
Besides his wife, the former Gloria J. Evans, whom he married June 20, 1979, he leaves three sons, John L. and Reynard, both of Youngstown, and Calvin L. of Warren; three daughters, Queen E. Battle of Huntsville, Linda A. Ellebie of Farrell and Roshawnda R. Humphrey of Youngstown; three brothers, the Rev. Charlie T. Jr. of Huntsville and Joe L. and J.M., both of Indianapolis; four sisters, Willie Mae James and Hazel Jackson, both of Youngstown, Lois Graham of Huntsville and Bessie Humphrey of Pulaski, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.
Two sisters, Annie Bell Andrew and Dorothy Brown, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services Wednesday in the church. Arrangements are by Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home.
