Hassay-Scott wedding date to be April 21

YOUNGSTOWN -- Marguerite and Edward Hassay, 1318 Black Friar Lane, are announcing plans for the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Maura Jude Hassay of the same address, and Joseph John Scott, a son of William and JoAnn Scott, all of 4013 Bob-O-Link Drive.
The bride-elect is a high-school teacher with Canfield Local Schools. She graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in biology and earned a comprehensive science teaching certificate at Youngstown State University.
The prospective groom graduated from BGSU with a bachelor's degree in biology and received a bachelor's in human biology at the National College of Chiropractic, where he will receive his degree in chiropractic medicine in April. He is completing his clinical rotation at Ohio Sports and Spine under Dr. Joseph DiDomenico.
The couple will be married during a 2:30 p.m. ceremony April 21 at St. Patrick Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for an evening reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
