GREENVILLE, PA. Anderson drivers, mechanics do well at bus competition



GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Drivers and mechanics for Anderson Coach & amp; Tour scored well at the recent regional bus rodeo held at Anderson's facilities at 1 Anderson Plaza.
The company had two coach operators finish in the top five in the drivers' competition and three mechanics finish in the top five in their category at the American Bus Association Regional Driving Championship and Mechanics Competition.
The top three coach operators and the top three mechanics are invited to attend the National Driving Championship and Mechanics Competition in Biloxi, Miss., on June 28-30.
Dennis Shank of Greenville, an Anderson coach operator, finished second in that competition. It was the third year in a row that he has qualified for national competition. He has captured second place the last two years at the national level.
Joe Marino of Hubbard, another Anderson driver, finished fourth in the coach operator category.
Scott Fetzer of Adamsville, Pa., an Anderson mechanic, took third place in that competition and will go on to the national level.
Two other Anderson mechanics scored in the top five. Phillip Polkabla of Greenville finished fourth while William Collins Jr. of Hadley came in fifth.
