CHESTER O. DICK, 86



AUSTINTOWN -- Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church for Chester O. Dick, 86, of 563-B Wilcox Road, who died Sunday at home.
Mr. Dick was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Roaring Spring, Pa., a son of Arthur and Stella Pote Dick, and came to the area in 1952. He was a pipefitter for LTV Steel Corp. for 28 years before retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the church and its XYZ Club, the Chatterbox Club and Canfield AARP. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in England, Italy and North Africa with the 751st Tank Battalion and the Fifth Army.
Besides his wife, the former Mary F. Frederick, whom he married Nov. 21, 1941, he leaves three daughters, Sylvia McKinley of Austintown, Brenda Philibin of Las Vegas and Andrea Dick of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Phyllis Applemen and Doris Dick, both of Roaring Spring; and three grandchildren.
Two sisters, Marjorie Himes and Rebecca Rousch, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lane Funeral Home here and one half-hour before services Wednesday in the church.
