Amanda Gardner, Davis W. Jones are engaged

VIENNA -- David and Jean Jones, 404 Niles-Vienna Road, are announcing the engagement of their son, David William Jones, 4211 Sharon View Road, Charlotte, N.C., to Amanda Kee Gardner of the Sharon View Road address.
Miss Gardner is a daughter of Sheila and Ned Gardner, 25 Wythe Circle, Lancaster, Pa.
A graduate of Elon College with a bachelor's degree in education, the bride-elect is a first-grade teacher with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte.
Mr. Jones holds a bachelor's degree in education from Marietta College and is a sixth-grade teacher with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's wedding to take place at 4 p.m. July 21 at Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster and for a reception afterward at Eden Hotel and Resort in Lancaster.
