TOMLINSON RUN STATE PARK Quick facts
The park consists of 1,401 acres and is about 31/2 miles long and 3/4 mile wide.
The general topography is steep hills and valleys.
The most abundant trees are second growth oak, hickory, wild cherry, maple, beech, black birch, hemlock and Ash - The elevation ranges from 700 feet to 1200 feet above sea level.
Check-in time is 1 p.m., and check-out time is noon.
The gathering of firewood is strictly prohibited. Gathering of dead wood on the ground or that is standing is not permitted. The cutting of trees will subject you to fines when caught. Firewood can be purchased there.
There are six major trails that vary in walking time from 20 minutes to 11/2 hours.
