Teen motorist faces drug charges

AUSTINTOWN -- Police said they found 100 grams of suspected marijuana Friday afternoon in the trunk of a car driven by a 19-year-old man originally from Columbus and living temporarily on Roanoke Avenue.
The man had been wanted on a drug paraphernalia warrant and his license is under suspension because of the charge, police said. Police said they also found an open bottle of liquor in the car.
They charged him with underage possession of alcohol, driving without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug-abuse marijuana.
