STELLA K. SMOLINSKY, 88



WARREN -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Church for Stella K. Smolinsky, 88, of 2908 Clearwater N.W., who died Saturday night at Washington Square Nursing Home.
Mrs. Smolinsky was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Glina, Yugoslavia, a daughter of Jovo and Mitra Korach Korach, and moved here from Aliquippa, Pa.
She worked at Ohio Corrugating and as a housekeeper for the Abraham family. She was a member of the church and a founding member of The Circle of Serbian Sisters, both in Warren. She cooked for church functions and Shadeland Children's Camp in Pennsylvania.
Her husband, Steve J. Sr., whom she married Sept. 7, 1934, died April 18, 1987.
She leaves two sons, Steve J. Jr. of Struthers and Joseph M. of Warren; three daughters, Dianne Johnson of Warren, Patricia S. Logan of Cortland and JoAnn Nelman of Hartford; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A brother, Mike Korach, is deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sinchak & amp; Sons Funeral Home where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
